ABOUT

Charlotte Orcel

Charlotte Orcel is a young French artist. Passionated from an early age about art and creativity, she is now a violinist at the Haute Ecole de Musique of Geneva, in Master of Interpretation.

This website is dedicated to her drawings, where you can find her different creations. Her work focuses on the shades of colour, the geometric shapes, and the dichotomy between strength and softness. She likes to create with mixed techniques, in order to combine different textures, but always in a harmonious and inspiring result. She particularly likes the softness of watercolour, unpredictable, and the precision and organization offered by felts. Her work is unique, in a very personal style, guided by various inspirations: music, of course, but also the daily life, the people or the places that she is led to discover. Here, no half-measure in the use of color: the rendering is powerful, lively, but always imbued with poetry.

A painting can be observed in a thousand ways, and this is what Charlotte looks for with the use of abstract forms, evoking different images for each viewer. In some paintings, she also works with phosphorescent paint, in order to give an even more eclectic aspect.

Colors and atmospheres live, during the day, the night, and according to lighting. Have a nice visit!
